Force-free Dog Behaviourist and Trainer

I am the owner of two Romanian rescue dogs, Nutmeg and Luna, and I am qualified as a level 5 Canine Behaviour Practitioner, with added experience supporting owners of rescue dogs through voluntary work over the past couple of years. I currently provide rescue back-up support free of charge for the rescue my Nutmeg came from, and support for a few friends and colleagues. Next year I hope to go part time in my main job (in I.T. management) so I can start to offer canine behaviour consultations to a wider group of people, having found this year I couldnt find the time to do both, while still providing free rescue back-up which I want to continue doing.

I am based in the Midlands but currently all consultations are done online by video call. Anyone visiting the website may be able to find help under the resources section.

Bark 2 Talk overview

I am a force-free dog behaviourist and firmly believe all training should be 100% force-free, pain-free and stress-free. My advice is holistic and my training is science-backed and current, with a level5 diploma from ISCP. I want my advice to other dog carers to be based on ongoing learning from reputable force-free sources and always based on sound ethical principles.

I set-up 'Bark 2 Talk'  (in May 2022) to provide more information about my background, my dogs, what I do, and some free information. My current experience is with rescue dogs and I aim to help other rescue dogs. I have done consultations for people outside of the rescue back-up but have found I don't have time to do this to the degree I would like to currently, so will look to 2023 and beyond when I can reduce my hours in my main job.

I can help with the following, all of which I have had experience of: separation related issues, reactivity (dogs and people), minor aggression, resource guarding, dogs and cats, mouthing, lack of calm, destructive behaviour, barking, general anxiety, improving engagement, basic training needs, addressing stress build-up, settling a new dog.

Below are links to the two rescue organisations my dogs came from, Amicii and Last Chance Rescue.
